Send mail when creating new user

Hi,

I have a problem. When I create a new User (Reseller Lever > Add New User) DirectAdmin doesn't send an email to the new user that his package has been created.

The pop account is working, because I can receive mail. But I think there is a problem with the SMTP server of DA.

Can someone help me out?

login as root and run 'telnet localhost 25'

or

with your pc and run 'telnet 12.23.34.56 25' where 12.23.34.56 is your server ip
 
I don't think that's going to prove anything, Danny.

Zabulus, there have been some threads on this issue before.

If the user is setting up a domain s/he already owns, and uses the domain to be hosted on the same server, s/he won't get the email because it'll stay on the server.
