By making sure that in httpd.conf where it says
Code:
[b]DirectoryIndex index.html index.htm index.shtml index.phtml index.cgi[/b]
u add .asp to the list i guess assuming u installed APACHE::ASP

That may mean just my opinion/help/answer and its eurocents because im dutch and we have euro's :)

I have upload index.asp on a user account.

I get this message:

error compiling index.asp: Bareword "Response" not allowed while "strict subs" in use at /home/kutuk/domains/kutuk.nl/public_html/asp/index.asp line 4. , /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/Apache/ASP.pm line 1465

any idea`s?

If you want to host asp pages then you might as well install a windows server with iis. Apache asp is not meant to have full functionality for asp.

I know.. but simply asp files can be run or not?
There was a time when we tried to support .asp using the apache module.

But all we ever could get it to do was parse files with .asp suffixes.

So we stopped supporting it.

As much as I hate to admit it, I think chatwizrd has the right idea.

If you have any questions about errors you get from the .asp module, then a users-group or forum for the module would be the right place to ask, DA does nothing to make it not work.
