AWStats Plugin for DA [version 3.0+]

Obviously I am NOT writing about the third party plugin...
I am writing about the implementation of awstats done by DA.
There should be a "documented way" of importing old stats from other
awstats installations.

Are you writing about the plugin? If so, since it's a third-party product, why would JBMC (the developers/distributors of DirectAdmin) be involved?

Jeff

Not obviously at all; you've posted in the 3rd Party Software subforum, in the AWStats Plugin for DA thread.

You may want to repost in the right place.

Jeff

You're right Jeff, but is there any topic that covers the problem? If not, what would be the best category to start a topic?

Thanks

AWStats support is now built into the latest versions of DirectAdmin.

Jeff

Code:
cd /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/
./build set awstats yes
./build awstats

I'm trying to get it work.. and installed an AWstats plugin.

Because the built in version doesn't show the stats properly.
But if I click on: Now refresh(or something..)

I get this error:

Error: Couldn't open server log file "/var/log/httpd/domains/kw-sys.eu.log" : Permission denied

Setup ('/etc/awstats/awstats.kw-sys.eu.conf' file, web server or permissions) may be wrong.
Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory).

I would suggest you to remove awstats plugin and understand why the custombuild one isnt working, that is a supported one that you should use.

Im actually using that and is totally working.
