Hey,

We've decided to release an exim.conf editor we call XmConf Editor, for FREE.

It allows you to edit the exim.conf file from within the plugin. Additionally, it'll check for syntactic correctness before writing any changes you make to the file.

Also, you can check for the ORDB entry in the exim.conf and if it is there you'll be given the option to remove it.

BTW, did I mention that there is NO CHARGE for this plugin...

There's a license agreement you should read before using the plugin and we have encoded the plugin as it contains some code from our other plugins.

Well, with all that out of the way you can find/get the plugin here:

http://files.mysiteplugins.com/XmConf.tar.gz

Thanks, David

What's the difference between this and the last exim editor plugin?

Hey,

This (XmConf) plugin only allows you to edit the exim.conf file, that's basically all (except for checking for the ORDB entry in the exim.conf) it will do.

Exim Editor does the above plus enable/disable spamassassin, edit the blacklist and whitelist files, creates backup copies when the exim.conf is modified, change the URL listed in the denied messages, enable/disable the RBLs email is checked against, allows changing of the limit file and displays the message files associated with it... and so on...

OK, you see Exim Editor does much more...

DA already allow you to edit the exim.conf but it doesn't check it after it's edited... XmConf does...
