Server folders

I wish to keep all mail server side and folders, so whenever i add the email account onto a mail client it has the same folders/emails and then when changes are made ie folder changes and email deletion/moves

I know mail clients have an option to leave mail on server but this would not keep my folder layout.

Is this possible?

Use IMAP instead of POP3.
