[Release] Exim Editor - No-Cost!

Hi,

Whilst changing the memory limit is successful per the output of phpinfo, the script still gives the same error.

Thanks,

Don't forget to restart your httpd when you changed the setting(s).

/etc/init.d/httpd restart

Hey,

Sorry for taking so long in answering this...

Hi,
Whilst changing the memory limit is successful per the output of phpinfo, the script still gives the same error.
Thanks,

Exim Editor uses it's own php.ini... It located here:

/usr/local/directadmin/plugins/Exim_Editor/data/php.ini

Try changing the memory_limit there and let me know how it works.

We have it set at 20M.

If that fixes it then I'll modify Exim_Editor and release an update.

Thanks, David

Have a Bug in Blacklist Domains

Rebooted a server yesterday and went to blacklist a domain just now...

For some reason my domain blacklist list has disappeared and all I can see in the textarea now is:

Code:
11111111

						</td></tr>
						</table>
					</td>
				</tr>
				<tr>
					<td style="padding: 0px; padding-left: 15px;">
							<font class=tree>admin</font> » <a class=tree href="/CMD_PLUGINS">Plugins</a>
					</td>
				</tr>
				<tr>
					<td height=39 colspan=3 align=center valign=bottom background=/IMG_FOOTER_WIDE class=white style="padding-bottom: 8">
						<a class="white" href="http://www.directadmin.com/">DirectAdmin</a> Web Control Panel © 2007 JBMC Software
					</td>
				</tr>
			</table>

		</td>
		<td width=31 background=/IMG_SKIN_RIGHT_SHADOW>
		</td>
	</tr>
</table>

</td>
</tr>
</table>
</body>
</html>

I can't get rid of it as the save button has dissappeared also..
All other options seem to be OK...

Anybody got any ideas???..

Hey,

The only idea I would suggest is to update the plugin...

I haven't seen what you describe before.

Let me know...

Thanks, David

Hi David.. Just did that.. Same thing.. Seems like the area just below the bottom of the textarea dropped off the page for some reason and the textarea is being populated with the above..

Hey,

Take a look at your "/etc/virtual/blacklist_domains" file and see what it looks like...

That is the file Exim Editor changes for blacklisting domains...

Also, if I remember right... There should be a backup(s) copy of that file that you can view from the "View Backups" link in Exim Editor.

I'm guessing that somehow that file became corrupt... Just a guess...

Thanks, David

Hi David.. Don't know how that file got corrupted but here is what's in it right now:

Code:
11111111^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@$

1345=type=email&[email protected]&method=outgoing&id=1KJ77c-0003tX-QG
1547=type=email&[email protected]&method=outgoing&id=1KJ78e-0003tf-Dj

1110=type=email&[email protected]&method=outgoing&id=1KJFSq-0001i8-FC
1144=type=email&[email protected]&meth

:(

Also.. Don't know how this got in there but I just noticed that I have a different version of Exim on the server:

Pre-Release Version Installed! Installed: 2.50 Available: 2.40

Not sure if I should have it or not.. :confused:

Hey,

The Version 2.50 is fine... That's a minor update I was testing...

The text in the blacklist_domains file looks like the text from the View Usage.

Of course this part looks strange:

11111111^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^

I think I'd replace the blacklist_domains with one of the backups... You can find them here:

/usr/local/directadmin/plugins/Exim_Editor/backups

The blacklist_domains file should be mail.mail and 644.

Another thing you might try first would be to delete everything in the blacklist_domains file,save it, and then see if it shows up OK in Exim Editor. If it does then you can cut-n-paste the contents of the last good backup.

Thanks, David

Is there a way of doing this by using the control panel or do I have to get into Putty?

If I do, can you give me the exact commands to replace this file please.

Ed

Hey Ed,

Good to hear...

If it was something we should be concerned with please have him PM me on it. I'd like to know what he found/saw.

Thanks, David

Hello :) As you see - the file was corrupted, so the backup was restored. That's it. Have a good day!

I like to see a function that we can manage ALL RBL's that are using. And not a "few" of them.

So is it possible to make a function where we can list all RBL's name, so there is a possibility for each customer to enable/disable a RBL ?
