Changing DA IP post install

Other than getting Support to change the IP on the LID what steps need to be taken to ensure that i can successfully change the IP for the DA.. basically following scenario is what i did like to have.

i have 5 IP addresses on the server..
currently DA is installed on IP 1 port 2222
i would like to move it to IP 5 and port 80.

any help is highly appreciated.
 
Changing IP requires DA support to do it so your license reflects it.

Changing ports can be done by yourself.
 
If you run DirectAdmin on port 80, then you won't be able to run apache on port 80.

Or am I missing something?

That is correct. If DA is listening on port 80 then apache will not be able to listen on port 80.

I just tried to answer his question without getting into all the ramifications.

A way around it is to use the wrapper. He can access DA using port 80 without DA actually listening on port 80.

thanks for the inputs an clarifications.. any help on the wrapper part to make that change would be great.. i have certain users and activities that need to happen when behind a corporate proxy/firewall where port 80 and 443 are the only ports than can be used on the browser... hence i am trying to setup a dedicated IP with port 80 for DA....
