Can't make Squirrelmail default

I'm trying to set Squirrelmail as the default webmail client so that if you go to:

http://mydomain.com/webmail

it will redirect to Squirrelmail.


According to other posts here, that should already be the case, but for me at least, it's not!

I found a post which told me to search for and change the path for webmail in httpd.conf but it isn't in there!

Where is this being set? I've run out of places to look!
