Stopping named: rndc: connect failed: connection refused

[root@host3 root]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/named stop
Stopping named: rndc: connect failed: connection refused
[FAILED]

where as in the service status for directadmin control panel it says
Named Process is stopped Start Stop Restart Reload

any idea ?

comment out the rndc part of the stop script...

# first try to use rndc
# _stop_rndc
