Okay, I've done a fresh install, and I see it in the plugin manager, but I don't have a link in the admin interface. Did I do something wrong?

I just installed per your recommendations and made your recommended changes, however once I turn it on, it blocks all http access. What did I do wrong. Right now, I turned it off so I have access and my sites are accessible. I've installed it on a VPS with DA.
