I search the forum and go to my /etc/ftab and this is the code:

# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/sda1 / ext3 errors=remount-ro 0 1
/dev/sda5 none swap sw 0 0
/dev/scd0 /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 user,noauto 0 0

I think i must fix above problem here? who can help me?

Hmm, I still have this problem.

/usr/sbin/repquota /home
repquota: Mountpoint (or device) /home not found or has no quota enabled.
repquota: Not all specified mountpoints are using quota.

This is my 5th server, I love DA. But this is the first time I have this problem. Can anyone help me?

Change your quota partition in /usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin.conf

Thanks for the fast reply, it right now is:

quota_partition=/

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda1 38M 14M 23M 37% /boot
/dev/sda5 143G 1.4G 135G 2% /
tmpfs 1010M 0 1010M 0% /lib/init/rw
tmpfs 1010M 0 1010M 0% /dev/shm
udev 10M 68K 10M 1% /dev

cat /etc/fstab gives
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/sda5 / ext3 errors=remount-ro 0 1
/dev/sda1 /boot ext3 defaults 0 2
/dev/sda6 none swap sw 0 0

What am I supposed to change it to?

Follow the guide and change all the references to /home to just /

Also in /etc/fstab

change

Code:
/dev/sda5 / ext3 errors=remount-ro 0 1

to

Code:
/dev/sda5 / ext3 errors=remount-ro,usrquota,grpquota 0 1

Follow the guide and change all the references to
change

Code:
/dev/sda5 / ext3 errors=remount-ro 0 1

to

Code:
/dev/sda5 / ext3 errors=remount-ro,usrquota,grpquota 0 1

That did the trick. I'll add this topic to my server help bookmarks in FireFox :)

Thanks alot scsi. Sorry for taking your time.

Me i have in etc/fstab
# <sys.fichiers><pt de montage><type> <options> <dump> <pass>
/dev/sda1 / ext4 errors=remount-ro 0 1
/dev/sda2 /home ext4 defaults 1 2
/dev/sda3 swap swap defaults 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs defaults 0 0

i don't arrived to change the package i have this error :
Error with system Quotas
setquota: Mountpoint (or device) /home not found or has no quota enabled. setquota: Not all specified mountpoints are using quota.

I have a few days with DirectAdmin, and have more problems with all my live with cPanel.

I'm beginning to think it was a mistake to try to use DirectAdmin. I think that to save a few dollars, does not suit me.

Why is not this already set up from the beginning of the installation?

Why to use a control panel, if I have to go to the command line in order to set up this?

@Eduardo,

It's hard to respond because you don't mention the specific issue you're having. I'm presuming it's with system quotas.

DirectAdmin supports many OS combinations.

System quotas depend on OS implementation, and your original installation may not have installed your OS with system quotas enabled. This is often a problem with VPS installations, and if you're using a VPS which came with DirectAdmin aleady installed your vendor's tech support team may be able to help you more efficiently than we can.

But if you need and want help here, you need to give us more information about your server build, and whether or not it's a VPS.

Jeff

My way is:
Code:
# cd /usr/sbin
# mv setquota setquota.old
# touch setquota
# chmod 755 setquota

I have already tested on www.quatangtinhnhan.com - A VPS user Directadmin.

It's dedicated server or VPS? If VPS - what's type: OpenVZ / LXC / another? What software you use? Proxmox? Openstack? Another?

Did you set Quota UGID limit and Qouta Grace period on VPS container?

Hello,
What is the negative result of this error. I am getting it also but has not seen a problem on practice.
