Domain pointer, IP adress as Source Domain

Call me stupid, I simply don't know what is happening here. See attachment.

Normally one would fill in a domain name as in www.test123.com

This domain then gets redirected to the user-level domain name. In my example (see attachment) the user filled in my server IP adress as a Source Domain (Bron Domein).

What happens when you do this? I cannot use the IP adress on other domains (system responds that the domain name is already in use).

Is this harmfull? Why would anyone want to do this?

Hello,

An IP should not be used. Remove it from the list.

I'll add a check for the next release to ensure people don't use IPs there.

Thanks for the reply, I'll remove the entry.

Nevertheless I'd like to know if it is harmfull, and why anyone would want to do this.
