Issues with PHP on Debian

Hello!

When I attempt to install DirectAdmin on a Debian 5 machine, 32b, I get the following error(s):

Permissions set
Can't open /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf: No such file or directory.

Cannot find /usr/local/bin/php
Please recompile php with custombuild, eg:
cd /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild
./build all d

I am curious as to why this error is occuring. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
