./getLicense question

Let's say my main DA server went down but i have second server witch have 30 day trial version of DA which already expired. I want to use getLicense script on a new server using alias ip address from old one (ifconfig eth0:1<od machine ip>...) and restore system backup manually. The main ip of new server is public. Will that work??

If you want to use ifconfig eth0:1 then you have to change it in the directadmin.conf file.
