Generally because they're not receiving your email or you're not giving them enough time to reply.

Use their Safe Submit page.

Please chill and relax. They have more to do then only just 1 email from you.
They work very hard to get a good product for us all.
 
In my experience license changes (when doing re-install for example) are done very quick. Depends on timezone difference but never longer than few hours..
 
your support is working so weak recently I have lost my client password then I can't recovery my files now I don't know why you don't answer me and even I can't order too why you treat like this?!
 
Nine times out of ten is a mail server issue. I see John saying he replied to people just for them to fail to receive the reply.

In all seriousness, everyone should use the safe submit form...... If you use an email from a DA box, make sure the directadmin.com is whitelisted in your filters.
