Hi there,

I recieved the following information from my hosting provider.
* Range: 2a01:7c8:1:866::/64
* Gateway: 2a01:7c8:1:866::1/64

* [[Colo:megaware]]: 2a01:7c8:1:866:357::1/64

How can i add this to directadmin?

thanks in advance

thanks for you reply.

If i try to add this ipnumber i get the following message.

nvalid IP (1.2.3.4) or IP range (1.2.3.4-5)
or IPv6 (1:2:3:4:5:6:7:8) or IPv6 range (1:2:3:4:5:6:7:8-9)

Any ideas?

well just as posted above.
I really don't have any experience yet with IPV6, so actually don't know what i'm doing wrong.

Well, as posted above is the wrong way, as you can see. Right?

DirectAdmin gave you an example about how to add new IPs to the system:
IPv6 (1:2:3:4:5:6:7:8) or IPv6 range (1:2:3:4:5:6:7:8-9)

Just as you posted above don't have the same format that DirectAdmin requires. For example, what about /64 at the end of your IP range?

Check here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPv6

There are a few that tested IPv6 support here and they will can help you with this. Good luck!

Well dunno about the /64 at the end. That's the way i got it from my host.
But what about the subnet mask, should i get that from my hoster as well?

i entered the IP without the /64, but am unable to ping it.
Any ideas?
