Dovecot 2 downgrade to Dovecot 1

Hi,
After installing Dovecot 2 update I saw a very high load on server and not once I saw the Dovecot process eating out all CPU power...
What i need is to downgrade to Dovecot 1.2.16 but i can't find any useful thing about this on forum.
