May I know how to solve this problem?
 
Sure, you may.

For some reasons update.tar.gz can not be fully retrieved from directadmin file server. It can be a temporary problem with ISP channel, or your local problem with IP or License key.

Try updating manually, following instructions from http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=29 and update us with any results.
