No Zend Optimization New Versions for FreeBSD

Zend will not support FreeBSD anymore.

The better thing for FreeBSD is the load aerage is only 0.8% for my 900 A/C while Centos 5.1 is about 14.

So, please give your answer and reasons for more understanding.

Is it a good idea to have a Hosting Server without Zend Optimization?
    Why?

Well ionCube works and its encoder looks to be a lot cheaper than Zend Guard, you can even do one off file encoding with their online encoder.
