Hello,

DirectAdmin 1.39.2 has been released:
http://www.directadmin.com/versions.php?version=1.392000

This is both a bugfix and feature release.

The main bugfix is with the Brute Force Monitor (BFM), including significant performance increases.

The BFM page also has a few more goodies on it, including the most attacked Users and a skip list for Users and IPs.

One simple feature that was added in is the ability to suspend an email account:

Also coded is a per-email send limit (so accounts don't need to share a limit):

It's also important to note that for existing installs the BFM is not turned on internally. This means that if there is no option set in the directadmin.conf it will be off. It was turned on by default in 1.39.1, so it does not mean it will be on in 1.39.2 if it was on in 1.39.1. Either way, after you update, ensure it's set however you'd like. For new installs, it will be on by default.

Hmm, When I click the IP on BFM, details do not display underneath, just states 'No Data to Show'

Is the clicked IP anywhere in the bottom table? (before the click)

Clicking an IP or a username just uses the advanced table search with the "equals" option for that column. Try clicking "Advanced Search" to see exactly what it's searching for (assuming there is something in the table that matches that search).

Still seems to be working on my end... anyone else having issues?

Ive noticed just today (never enabled before the bfm) that when ive a list of ip/user... ive no the ban ip button.. but the block_ip.sh exist and have correct permissions.

Any idea?

Thanks

Also, think my language files are broke, on the 2nd shot, you can see the radio buttons with no text.

I shouldve masked the IP, but oh well, serves them right for trying to BF me

Hello,

Ive noticed just today (never enabled before the bfm) that when ive a list of ip/user... ive no the ban ip button.. but the block_ip.sh exist and have correct permissions.
The "Block IP" button should be on the "IP Info" page.

you can see the radio buttons with no text.
I don't recall them ever having text. They're the sort choice for the column they're in.
The BFM table is sorted differently, so doesn't have a sub-sort (order when values match).

Oh ok now i saw.

Just my 2 cent, should be nice have Block IP near each line or, use the select already present tab for select multiple ip and block ip at the end of page, but the multiple selection will require a different script i suppose for multiple ban (not sure).

What do you think about this?

Regards

That's doable. I'll add it to the versions.
I put it on the other page as I always like to read where an IP is from before blocking it (so as to not block someone who is just having a bad day ;))

Should be cause you got just 1 attempter?

If you want i can try faile 5 time and see if with 2 attempter it work.. maybe should be a bug...
