[Feature request] Make backups with pigz for multi-processor/core machines

Hello,

Is it possible to implement a featured option that give me the choice to backup with PIGZ ( http://zlib.net/pigz/ ) ?

PIGZ is a parallel implementation of gzip for modern multi-processor, multi-core machines.

Why would then because then they would have to allow anyone to backup with any program they want then. zip, bzip2, ... etc
