    DNS Zones

    I am running a CentOS VPS with DA for hosting my clients.

    I made a mistake in changing the nameservers of my main domain by accident. But when I changed it back to the right ones, the DNS Administration screen now appears empty. I went on to each several of the other domains and found that their DNS records are still there in DNS Management! How do I repopulate the DNS Administration screen with the existing DNS records?

    Hello,

    A screenshot would help to understand what you mean.

    Here is the link: http://minus.com/mqoojhut0/1f

    It seems that I may have found the solution. It appears that the entries in /etc/named.conf got wiped out somehow.

    Maybe this can be of help:
    http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=330

    or this:
    echo "action=rewrite&value=named" >> /usr/local/directadmin/data/task.queue
    /usr/local/directadmin/dataskq d
    Greetings, Richard.

    @Richard,

    The solution suggested by you as it seems to me does not refill /etc/named.conf.

    @ORiN,

    I guess you need to enter records to /etc/named.conf manually or with a script (which you can write by yourself or ask someone to do it for you).
