hi, it's possible to add a new user for a server Centos ?
I have user root with password and i whant a new (root) with another login and pass
Thanks for your help

Any user can be given root access by modifying it's setting in the /etc/passwd file so that the UID and GID are both 0, which signifies root.

However, since Linux identifies users and groups only by UID and GID, for anyone who logs in and creates files, directories, etc., the ownership will appear as root, and the logs will show the work done by root.

So the only advantage is that you can see the logins separately in your logs.

Ok, actually it is for emergency access and also create a second administrator. I'll look at that side. If the second admin made mistakes, I can see that it is him.
thank you
