Greetings,
Dovecot is new to me.. or I am to Dovecot.
I've installed it. No errors.
Altered /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf to listen to all and use most protocols.
I'm able to mail from the command line to my gmail account.
Now my colleques want to use the dovecot mail server to have their WebLogic application mail notifications.
So just sending, no need for receiving.
I've tested with telnet, but the connection keeps getting closed.
[root@OL-WLS-PRI log]# telnet localhost 25
Trying ::1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
Connection closed by foreign host.
root is in the authentication table.
/var/log/maillog is empty.
How can I see, why the connection is closed?
Greetz,
D.
