just "yum update" can update the Fedora1 DA system automatically ?

You shouldn't use "yum" for this, but up2date. DA makes ignore entry's in the conf of up2date so critical packages aren't updated.
Such as: Apache, EXIM etc.
You could check this out and skip these manualy or add them to the yum conf.
The up2date config is: /etc/sysconfig/rhn/up2date-config (or something like that
)
