    Question FFMPEG and FFMPEG-PHP

    Hi,

    I have DirectAdmin on a Debian 6.0 and I need ffmpeg and ffmpeg-php for excluding a frame from a uploaded video with php.

    How do I install this via ssh a how to guide (step by step) would be very nice.

    Thank you very much.

    Kind regards
    Jérôme

    The fastest way to fix your problems is search a bit before you post. Internet is so widespread that almost all questions are asked before and the answer is somewhere on the web.

    Follow this guide: http://forum.directadmin.com/showthread.php?t=34333

    Thank you for your answer, I usually search before I post and the last two days I did nothing else then read and try. I just don't want to make stuff wrong and if someone did id already under the same os then why not ask?

    The link you sent me is for centOs and not for Debian 6.0.

    Done it, everything works fine with this guide.

    https://d.stavrovski.net/blog/instal...ian-6-squeeze/

    After that you need to open your php.ini via directadmin and add following line:

    extension=ffmpeg.so

    save and restart apache

    service httpd restart

    if you run into path problems change your extension_dir in php.ini.
