I am running CentOS 5.10 and using CustomBuild 2.0.

When I tried to update Bind using yum no updates were found even though I am running version Bind 9.3.6. When I checked the options for yum I found "chroot-bind" listed as an excluded package along with the typical ones that DA uses.

How do I safely update Bind?

From taking a look at: http://mirror.centos.org/centos/5.10/os/x86_64/CentOS/ it looks like 9.3.6 is still te latest package available; and that bind chroot is a another piece of software.

Also note that although it says version 9.3.6; it's not the same as the same one as listed at http://www.isc.org/downloads/ - as package managers maintain and patch their own versions, it seems CentOS/RH updated their package january 2013 http://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos-announce/2013-January/019045.html

Update bind like normal. Bind-chroot should not be installed.
