How can i install laravel with directadmin ?

Hi all,

I searched this question in google in a whole day, but no answer. Please tell me, can we install laravel with directadmin? or any kind of php framework ?

I'm really wondering which search keys you used in that case.
I did it like this and the first 2 results gave me a solution for directadmin, the first one even from somebody who had it installed in directadmin.

Thank iu. I almost didn't understand what i searched , i'll take a look again.

Well, I ended up here when I was trying to work through the hardships of installing Laravel on a DirectAdmin box. Spent 2 hours trying to set it up on a subdomain, which I eventually gave up, and managed to set it up on a dedicated domain. Didn't expect it to give so much trouble.

http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=199 helped with the main issue: the framework needs to run from within Laravel's /public folder, not just from the root of all the code. That answer is actually specifically for subdomains, but of course that ?DOCROOT thing works for normal domains too.

1. Download the laravel source code from here
2. Upload the source code to "/domains/[domain name]/" via ftp
3. Done

It's not a problem at all. Just upload via FTP, setup config and voila. You can but you don't need have app files one directory up than public_html
