Hi..

Are there any instructions / how-to for this?

I want to install a new payed trusted SSL to make sure SMTP on 587 (TLS) and maybe also 465 as an extra, works without any warnings.

How can I do this?

And the important question: In shared hosting there are different users/domains, that use "mail.THEIRDOMAIN.org" as their SMTP (by THEIRDOMAIN.org I mean their domain).
Will one SSL work for all of them? Without changing their smtp host settings in their email clients?
If yes, what hostname should I buy the SSL on?

Thank you.

Hello,

Choose:

1. Install one cert for a hostname, e.g. server.domain.com and use it for all domains
2. Install multidomain cert serverwide to cover all needed domains
3. Use SNI and install several certs or per IP to cover all needed domains

I dont understand number 2 and 3:
2. Install multidomain cert serverwide to cover all needed domains
3. Use SNI and install several certs or per IP to cover all needed domains
