extra_spf_value requires dns_spf=1 ? (feature 1549 requires 1477)

I had in my directadmin.conf and tried to use the feature. That did not work.

Only when I set the extra_spf_value was added to the dns_txt.conf and dns_spf.conf templates.

That's correct. It should not be used anymore because it's deprecated.
For SPF you should only use TXT records, not the SPF record anymore.

Next to that... it seems logical to me that the basic option should be activated to be able to use the extra option. However, I wouldn't use them anymore as explained.

Thanks for pointing out that that the SPF record type is deprecated.

But since I really want the ip6: part in my TXT spf record, it would be nice if the option would work with Now I have to enable dns_spf and create an empty dns_spf.conf template to get the extra_spf_value in my TXT spf record...
