When adding new IPs on the server they are not automatically added in the "listen" part of /usr/local/etc/namedb/named.conf
I am not sure if that's a bug or not. I had to add my IPs manually.
I would like to also suggest two changes:
1. On your directadmin preinstall commands page (https://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=354) you can suggest bind911 instead of bind99. I tested 9.11 and it works fine.
2. You can probably add
in the options section of /usr/local/etc/namedb/named.conf
It's not a big deal at all but some DNS checking websites suggest that we should hide the version to external requests.
