maildir functionality

I've searched the forums, but can't find an answer.

I REALLY need maildir functionality. Does anybody have hacked DA not to use mbox, but maildir instead? Is this possible at all?

Changing DA to use Maildir would require the authors of DA be involved, since only lthey can change DA to create a Maildir directory path for each user rather than an mbox.

Then someone would have to modify the exim.conf file to use the Maildir path DA created.

I created the exim.conf file DA uses, and if they'd be willing to support Maildir I'd be happy to maintain the exim.conf file for it; personally I prefer Maildir.
