    FreeBSD 11.1

I just upgraded to FreeBSD 11.1. DirectAdmin runs fluent with it.

Quick note for other upgraders: you must reinstall GCC after the upgrade.

    Clean install errors

Iḿ trying to install directadmin on a clean FreeBsd 11.1 install

    But I'm getting two errors:
*** Cannot find the named binary. Please install Bind ***
*** gcc is required for compiling, please install gcc ***
    Installation didn't pass, halting install.

    I did run
    pkg install bind910
    pkg install gcc

    Named is running fine,

Frankly I have no idea what is going wrong

It's a new issue. In /usr/local/bin you have gcc48 or gcc5, but not simply "gcc" which is probably what DA is looking for. Just create a symlink there and it will go through.

    About bind... hmm...
