Hello,

My server is sending out e-mails at regular intervals. They are send from '[email protected]' to '[email protected]'. I want to know why these mails are sent. Especially because it are so many mails, that certain limits are almost being reached.

The problem is that (when checking Email Usage as Admin) there is no 'path' for the sent mail. Below the table, the text says 'Path: If the email was generated from a script, the path value will show the working directory the script was in. An email in the spool will have a path value of "retry" for each attempt.'
Well, they are not 'retry' emails. So ... how can I find out what generates these e-mails, if it ISN'T a script?

Thank in advance for looking into this question

Hello,

you can use the following ways:

1. check exim logs for more details
2. check headers from an email
3. analyse emails in queue

in order to determine source of emails.
