Hi,

Since a while now I have the /tmp directory filled up with multiple sql<randomnr> and zip<randomnr> files and they keep coming untill the disk is full - They don't get deleted and i don't know where they come from or why they are made.

Is it good practice to just delete the files every night, do they have a purpose and why is it filling up my disk. They are rather big as well

These are not created by DirectAdmin by default, are you sure you did not schedule backups to that directory?

Hello,

I"d rather either increase size of /tmp folder and/or change tmp folder in /etc/my.cnf to another place where you have more space. Of course if your /tmp folder is not of 1-2Gb size.
