Hello,

I trying at this moment install DA in Debian 9.4 version and receive a lot of strange errors which I did not received earlier with Debian 9.3.

In setup.txt file I see this configuration services=services_debian70_64.tar.gz

I think it is wrong? How I can solve it?

After install I receive this statuses from monitoring

da-popb4smtp Process is stopped
mysqld Process is stopped - service and mysql folder structure is empty. Cannot install or reinstall.

Yes of course. I think it will be DirectAdmin Debian OS detect issue.

How I fixed this issue.
1. I found in file /usr/local/directadmin/scripts/setup.txt this line
services=services_debian70_64.tar.gz
2. In file /etc/debian_version 9.4 I changed to 9.3. Which fee days tested clean DirectAdmin installation.
3. Install DA according this document https://www.directadmin.com/installguide.php
4. See fixed line in file setup.txt
services=services_debian90_64.tar.gz

Thanks for the report, I've updated the setup.sh to support 9.4 (and 9.5)

John

By the way. Maybe this is related. When I installed DirectAdmin I saw information what MariaDB do not have any passwords after installation.

mysql -u root -p <Enter> or mysql -u da_admin -p <Enter> received access without password.

Please create a ticket for the MariaDB install issue, it may require us to login to check to see what's going on.

Hi. Sorry, I cannot create ticket because I do not have permission to your external license management ;)
I tried to install DirectAdmin several times and receive the same issue the same times.
