Hello,

The guide is not adapted for Directadmin. It does not cover how to modify virtual hosts, and the virtual hosts are most likely still having port :80. Hence the issue happens. Related: help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=2

The guide does not cover HTTPS, and Varnish does not support HTTPS. You will still have Apache listening 443 port, since that the setup has no much sense, as soon Google will mark all HTTP sites insecure.

I guess you know nothing about Varnish and think it will help you to make sites working faster. It might or not help you.

If you really want to give Varnish a try, then you'd better try NGINX + Varnish + Apache.
