Hi,

I have troubles restoring a backup from another DirectAdmin installation. I did manage to migrate ALL the users, except for this one.

When restoring the backup, DA raises an error: "restoreFromFile: Unknown usertype for account 'foo'".

CentOS 6.0 64-Bit
Version 1.53.0

I can't understand why this particular user could not be restored. Maybe, it is because a user with the same username (in this case "foo") have existed on the new installation in the past. (!) Do I have to clean something up first?

Does it restore when you first create user "foo" on the new installation?

I already found a solution. I renamed the user on the existing installation (using this help article). After that, I could backup and restore it successfully on the new installation.

Does it restore when you first create user "foo" on the new installation?

I guess that could have been a solution as well. Thanks. :D
