I'm not sure what is happening on the server. It is acting bizarrely. I have tried rebooting and I updated to the latest with the custombuild steps. I'll describe the issues first and then share my current versions and hope you all can point me to things to look at.

First, here are some sample domains. They may or may not resolve if you try to go to them.

http://luckydicegames.com/
https://patentprintsandmore.com
https://thehistoricalarchive.com/

The problems seem to change each time I reboot. Here are the issues

1) Sometimes I cannot reach the website in my browser

if 1 is true, I can't reach it when trying to read email.

but sometimes I can't reach a site in the browser but I can ftp into it.

Also, regardless of whether thehistoricalarchive.com resolves in my email client or not, I cannot use SMTP to send, getting this error:

Sending of the message failed.
An error occurred while sending mail: Outgoing server (SMTP) mail.thehistoricalarchive.com is unknown. The server may be incorrectly configured. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again.

My current system version numbers are:

Apache 2.4.37
DirectAdmin 1.54.1
Exim 4.80.1
MySQL 5.6.42
Named 9.8.2rc1
sshd
dovecot 2.3.3 (dcead646b)
pure-ftpd 1.0.47
Php 5.6.38

I'm happy to share more but need to know what to share. This behavior has me completely stumped and clueless as to where to look.

Thanks,
Steven

This can be considered closed. Turns out godaddy reset all my domain pointers from my server back to their server...
