Upgrade to centos 7 without reinstall

    Hello dear people,

I have a server running on centos 6 with directadmin and all my websites and it is time to update to centos 7.
Is there a way to do this without reinstall everything?

    Just update the centos version?

    Kind regards
    Alex

    Hello Alex,

You can try it on your own risk using one of the following guides: https://www.google.com/search?q=cent...lace%20upgrade

I've never tested any of them, as it is much more stable to reinstall a VPS with CentOS 7 and migrate users. This is how I migrated recently my own servers from CentOS 6 to 7.
    Regards, Alex G.
