    How to restore encrypted?

    Hi.

    How to restore encrypted backup?

There is no field for the password??

Must it be enabled in some config file? Should have a place holder in the config as default.

    Hello,

It seems you need first to decrypt encoded backups (manually) with the script /usr/local/directadmin/scripts/decrypt_file.sh, and then only restore them in Directadmin.

    Yes. Thanks. Found the config.

allow_backup_encryption=0 should be in the directadmin.conf by default as a place holder as should dnssec=1 and letsencrypt=1

..and there should also be the dns_ttl=1 in the default config file so it would be possible to use wildcards with Let's Encrypt

dns_ttl=1 enabled by default since Version 1.57
New DirectAdmin installs will have dns_ttl=1 enabled by default.

Backup encryption is still Beta, and directadmin developers do not set beta features enabled by default.
