Keep getting 406 'not acceptable' errors whenever I try to update a page

I'm trying to update the Events page on my site. Normally, it's just a case of logging in to the admin section, clicking Static pages, modifying a block of text and clicking the "Save changes" button. However it doesn't seem to work any more. Whenever I click save changes I get page with the title "406 Not Acceptable". It says "An appropriate representation of the requested resource /admin/statics.php could not be found on this server." I've tried researching the 406 error code. It might be related to the mod_security rule on the server. I don't see an option to turn it off from the DirectAdmin web control panel. Are you able to help please?

Can anyone help?

Hi all,

this is still pending, can anyone help with my query please?

This is preventing me to update an important area of my website.

Best wishes
Nadia

You can also only set modsecurity rules to no and do ./build rewrite_confs

that will stop them then you upgrade your site and set them back to comodo or owasp and build rewrite confs again to enable them

@smtalk it will be good idea to have mod security disable on nginx_apache (per user as in cPanel) as I notice that mod security runs on nginx (which is verry cool) but cannot be disabled from htaccess
