redirect domain.com/cpanel to domain.com:2222

My users have been used to using cpanel and I would like to redirect any all attempts to access domain.com/cpanel to domain.com:2222 automatically.

does anybody know how to accomplish this ?

create an index.php file in your cpanel directory and put these code inside.

http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel/index.php

You can also do this in the main httpd.conf
There is already an alias for /panel or /control (something like that), it's near the alias' for squirrelmail and webmail.
