If a user tries to restore a DB via DA, they get this:
Code:
Permission denied /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql: not found

If you click the 'download' link to download a backup of the data, you end up with a 0 length file.

Any ideas?

Then you might try upgrading to the latest version (1.24), it might be a bug, but before contacting DirectAdmin, try to explore all possible possibilities.

Sure thing, I was worried of any problems that I might encounter by upgrading. I am usually a late upgrader, letting everybody else be the testers.

Okay, updated DA to latest version.

Clicking download still gets a 0 length file.

Uploading gets this:

Unable to restore database damn_db : /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql: not found gunzip: stdout: Broken pipe

Most interesting. I only get "Error while creating the backup", no explanation, nothing when attempting to download a backup.

Debian 3.0
MySQL 4.1.11

I can download databases through Directadmin in 1.24 and FreeBSD 5.3, however there seems to be an upload problem reported by one of my users which I havent investigated yet, this was reported before I upgraded to 1.24 and unconfirmed.

MySQL 4.0.24
