If you are using freebsd 4.8, try using this version of wget instead:

http://files.directadmin.com/services/freebsd4.8/wget

If that solves your problem, maybe post it in your thread on the forum.

I’m using FreeBSD 5.4 so that isn’t the problem, but you give me an idea what it could be.
I have installed wget by myself using the ports (/usr/ports/ftp/wget).

That version was conflicting with the DA-install. A “make deinstall” in /usr/ports/ftp/wget and restarting the DA-setup was the solution J.
