Irc

Just wondering if anyone knows exactly how to make vhosts work for IRC. (psyBNC) For BNC usage. I have the diferente ips with the diferente vhosts already. All Reverse DNS. I just can't seem to figure out how to make them work on BNC. Can anyone help me with this? It is hard to find people who know how to work this these days.

Hi,
once you have the reverse dns on it, you must also have an alias in your nameserver for it like if the ip is 123.123.123.123 and the vhost is vhost.domain.com vhost.domain.com has to resolve to 123.123.123.123. then you should just be able to specify the ip for that vhost in the bnc config and it should work.
