Back up / connection time out

Hello,

We've got a new back server. The old server used ProFTP, the new one use PureFTPD.

When i make a reseller back to a IP [ftp] , DA can't connect to that server.
In SSH I get a connection time out to that IP

CentOs 4.1 | DA 1.26 | APF | BFD.

Nothing in the logs....
Stopped APF whitout results....
Something happens and i look over of it.....

Do i miss some outgoing ports that are blocked or....or....or.....


Any Ideess?????

You may be firewalling ports required for passive ftp, which is used by default with most ftp connections.

Or your standard rpm-based CentOS install with the PureFTPD daemon may be blocking something by default.

Have you turned off firewalls on both servers?

...other servers can back up to this server, it's only one server that won't do it....
