Hi,
I just transfered my forum to my new server, and need to know if i did the following correctly.
I have directadmin as controlpanel.
I've added two dedicated ip's in the IP manager. Then i added two A records, with the ip's from the ip manager at the DNS administration panel. Is that ok? The ip's still have the status "free" though...
DNS administration:
ns1.domain.com A xxx.xx.xxx.xx
ns2.domain.com A xxx.xx.xxx.xx
domain.com. NS ns1.domain.com.
domain.com. NS ns2.domain.com.
IP management:
xxx.xx.xxx.x1 free 255.255.255.224
xxx.xx.xxx.x2 free 255.255.255.224
Now the only thing to do left is to glue these ip's to the ns, at my registrar (godaddy).
