Currently I host an account with their email and website.

They have hired a company to design a new site for them and that company will start to handle the hosting of the website.

The account would like us to host their email for them still, and then have the other company host their site. (reason behind this is that we filter spam and viruses with the Barracuda hardware device that I posted info on in another section of this forum)

I have no clue about what to do at godaddy, and what to change on my da server.

Please help..

thanks in advance!

David

they would need to move the mail DNS records where the site is hosted to something on your server.

Thanks for the info...

I sure hate to give over control to another company!!!!!!!!!!!

Got to do what ya got to do!

Thanks again,

David

ProWebUK,

Could I keep control by just changing my DA servers:

www A record xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (other hosting company)
domain.com A record xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (other hosting company)
ftp A record xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (other hosting company)

That should do it... right???????

Thanks again

David
