Hello all,

Okay, I am new to "reselling" and am
doing it for my own domains, mostly.

I have a BUNCH of questions:

1.) I am a user, and a reseller.....
........but am I Admin, too?

1a.) If I am Admin, where is that
box to log into?

1b.) If I am Admin, why can't I see it?
Is it because my domain is not yet resolved?

2.) I signed up with one of mydomains....
...sagenetworking.net. Where do I go to delete
that domain and put another in its place?

3.) If I want to use sagenetworking.net
as a name server do I need to go and buy
a static IP?

3a.) If I do need a static and I get one....
...how do I add it? I can't find that option....
...perhaps as I have not yet found Admin.

Much More Importantly:

4.) Somehow, don't ask how or why,
I managed to put ns1.sagenetworking.net
on the SERVER address (see below).
How do I get it off?

IP 216.180.233.xxx
Status server
User(s) 141
Nameserver ns1.sagenetworking.net

Equally as Important:

5.) When I go in to "Modify your own
User data" I see the correct "ks1stmoms current IP" (server shared IP)
near the top.....and my botch job of ns1.sagenetworking.net
& ns2.sagenetworking.net at the bottom.

I have tried to type in the correct one that
was given to me when I signed up as a reseller
(ns13a.awesomedns.com and ns13b), but it
just comes up with:

"Details
An error occured while writing the ftp files:
Default Domain not found or else there were
no domains."

How do I resolve that?
I am logged in as reseller at the time...I believe.

...............

I probablyhave more questions, but, this
is quite Enough for one day.

TIA for any help and/or enlightenment,

Lesley in CA

if you are reselling on someone elses server then you won't have admin or root access and they will need to sort out the IP issues for you.

If it is your own server you should have admin/reseller/user control panel from the admin login

Your main page would be the Admin Panel if you were a Reseller. Unless you own or are renting the *whole* server, I doubt it.

User Panel -> Advanced Options -> Host Additonal Domains

No. Check off "virtual" when creating the NS's

Ask your admin. He's got the controls in his IP Manager (Clear NS value)

That's probably becuase you might not have any domains in yout User account. So it's trying to change the ip of something that isn't there. I wouldn't worry about it.

most all is worked out now

Hello,

Most all got itself worked out....or will go and change things (NS's) with the fab input from folks.
I really do appreciate it.

All my domains are online! ...with the exception of one, that is being resolved with the old host.

I am off to bed so that maybe I can fight off a cold. What a weekend.

Thanks everyone,

Lesley
